Required Qualifications:
A minimum of post-secondary degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related area. Equivalencies of education and experience may be considered. A demonstrated clear pattern of professional and personal development.
Additional Required Qualifications:
Effective communicator with strong analytical skills, organizational skills, influential skills, client-focused orientation and commitment to providing quality services.
Leadership skills, including demonstrated ability and comfort with decision making responsibilities, coaching, and the ability to inspire and build confidence in others.
Demonstrated ability to facilitate change and comfortable managing in ambiguity.A strong commitment to operating within a team environment and the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve common goals.
Experience in managing projects of different scope, magnitude and significance. Demonstrated experience in performance management, labour relations, policy interpretation, Human Rights Legislation and investigations.Northern Incentive Program:
AHS currently has a Northern Incentive Program in place for communities above the 55th parallel.
This allowance is non-pensionable and is payable on an hourly basis for all hours paid at the basic rate of pay.
Depending on where the successful applicant resides, you may qualify for a Northern Incentive Payment.Preferred Qualifications:
CPHR or other recognized designation. A minimum of two years' experience in an HR advisor/consultant or generalist position. Previous experience in an organization of similar size and complexity. Previous experience in a healthcare environment.
