- Develop and implement traffic management plans for urban heavy civil projects
- Coordinate with local authorities, transportation agencies, and law enforcement
- Conduct traffic flow assessments to identify congestion points and safety hazards and collaborates with project manager, engineers, or planners to develop strategies for minimizing disruptions
- Act as a liaison between the project team and the community, addressing concerns and building positive relationships
- Acts as a mediator between the project team and client representatives or community officials, actively seeking solutions that balance project requirements with community needs and concerns
- Provide clear and accurate communication of project objectives, timelines, and impacts
- Collaborate with project managers and public relations teams to develop informational materials
- Monitor and evaluate traffic control measures and make adjustments as necessary
- Attend community meetings and events to present project plans and gather feedback
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Urban Planning, or related field (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of traffic management regulations and best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Confident public speaking skills and ability to present information to large audiences.
- Valid class 5 drivers licence and clean drivers abstract.
- Must be able to communicate verbally and through written language (by hand and digitally) in English.
