Role and Responsibilities
Are you interested in expanding your business knowledge in an International, fast-paced, high-tech organization? Then you would make an excellent addition to our Team, as we are seeking experienced, creative, and dynamic Financial Analysts with excellent business acumen to be the financial leads on high value proposals in our Defence & Security Canada Business Unit.
Responsibilities- Prepare financial reports and financial analyses on new and existing programs/projects in D&S Canada more specifically on the revenue, cost and profitability analysis, and the preparation of the key performance indicators. Participate in the financial forecasting process at the program/project level. Review all contractual documents and identify commercial/financial clauses and make recommendations to mitigate/minimize CAE's risks and ensure customers requirements are achieved.
Build financial models for bids purposes that can accommodate in-depth financial analysis, leadership reviews, customer requirements, and evaluation criteria. Prepare bid book presentations (financial section) including sensitivity analysis to support leadership approval gates and support negotiations. Prepare detailed cashflow analysis and define payment plan for bids and proposals. Support business development with the price strategy and analysis. Provide guidance to supporting price analysts. Support the preparation of business cases as required. Support internal controls and compliance. Support Government audits and customer fact-finding exercises as required
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting/Business- Minimum 5 years experience with at least 3 years of relevant experience involving similar responsibilities Advanced Excel skills. Experience in Financial Modelling & Analysis Proficiency with Word and PowerPoint Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in bids and proposals within the Defense Industry asset Bilingual (English French)

- Ability to master and synthesize information to prepare clear and concise presentations for leadership.
- Able to work effectively with multidisciplinary, crossfunctional, and international teams.
- Demonstrates leadership and assumes responsibility for their actions.
- Effective and efficient in a dynamic context (changing priorities) and ability to perform under tight deadlines.
- Knowledge of IFRS accounting principles
Operational requirements:
- Must be eligible for registration to the Controlled Goods Program.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain the government of Canada's NATO Secret security clearance. #LI-CG1
