- Provide ground instruction to students enrolled in the Commercial Pilot program.
- Design and implement a student-centered learning environment using an outcome-based approach in either a face-to-face or online delivery mode.
- Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures and demonstrations using principles of adult learning.
- Develop new curriculum, training aids, and materials as needed.
- Use digital tools proficiently, including general office applications.
- Be flexible and responsive to learner needs using varied instructional methods.
- Plan and deliver content and learning activities that reflect the values, beliefs, needs, and contributions of a culturally diverse community.
- Provide appropriate evaluation, assessment, and feedback to students.

- Grade 12 or equivalent.
- Minimum current Class 3 instructor rating as issued by Transport Canada or a minimum of hours of post qualification flight experience and a Commercial Pilot License.

- Demonstrated competence and recent experience in the use of the internet, email, MS Office Suite software and the ability to learn and adapt to changing technology.
