- Overall direction, organization and supervision of a summer day camp program.
- Designing a weekly specialty camp program and instructing staff and children in one or more program areas.
- Supervising day camp counselors to ensure they are engaging campers in a supportive and fun atmosphere, and providing stimulating activities throughout the day.
- Assisting day camp counselors to resolve any issues which may arise, and acting as the primary contact and liaison for parents (with assistance from Town of Stratford staff where required).

The Town of Stratford is accepting resumes from qualified candidates for the position of Summer Day Camp Coordinator. This position offers a rewarding opportunity to the incumbent who will be responsible for:
The Summer Day Camp Coordinator is for 14 weeks, from May 27, 2024 to August 30, 2024. The ideal candidate will have experience in a day camp, or other similar setting, and experience working with youth 8-12 years old will be an asset. This position will require an individual who is positive, organized and an effective communicator.
