Responsibilities:

Promotes Agile principles to assist the transformation of Agile & DevOps at TransLink. Guides the team in establishing normalized estimates and helps the team understand how to estimate. Supports Product Owner to ensure timely delivery of the product. Facilitates team meetings such as daily stand-up, planning, grooming, product demo and retrospective sessions. Enables action by removing barriers. Provides expertise and guidance to one or more teams on Agile methodology. Acts as a Change Agent. Coordinates with other teams to continuously improve communications and relationships with other teams.


Qualifications:


EDUCATION


Requires Grade 12 completion plus a Diploma in Computer Science or related discipline from a recognized university or technology institution.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) certification is preferred.


EXPERIENCE


Requires three (3) years of recent related experience in working and developing Agile programs and running Agile teams with strong knowledge of scrum theory, rules and practices, preferably in a large enterprise.

A further period of up to one (1) year in the position is required to become familiar with TransLink's information systems, policies, procedures, environment and its user requirements as well as corporate road maps.


Work Schedule:

37.5 hours per week.

This is a full-time temporary position with an end date of August 08, 2025


Work Designation:

Hybrid

This position offers the flexibility of working both on-site and remotely within B.C.


Rate of Pay:

Salary $7,977 - $9,593 per month (Actual salary offered will be commensurate with education, experience and internal parity).

The Total Compensation Package includes Extended Health, Transit Pass and enrollment in the Public Service Pension Plan upon eligibility.
