As a rapidly growing school division in Alberta, Rocky View Schools (RVS) supports the educational needs of more than 28,000 students from Kindergarten to Grade 12 in 52 schools to ensure they learn, belong and succeed.

RVS issituated on the traditional territories of the Treaty 7 region of Southern Alberta including the Siksikaitsitapi (Siksika, Kainai, Piikani, Amskapi Pikuni), the Tsuut'ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations (Bearspaw, Chiniki, Goodstoney), and the Métis Nation of Alberta Region 3.

The Opportunity

Responsibilities Include

Attention to detail related to varied and complex cleaning tasks

Ability to work independently and perform assigned tasks within a team environment

Demonstrated pride in workmanship

Performs building security checks as scheduled by the Head Building Operator

Experience working in accordance with Occupational Health & Safety, WHMIS and other relevant legislation

Education/Experience

Previous cleaning experience is considered an asset

Certifications from cleaning organization is considered an asset

Previous experience within a school division is considered an asset

An equivalent combination of Education and Experience may be considered

Knowledge/Skills

Basic knowledge of proper cleaning procedures

Ability to successfully work in a team environment as well as independently with mínimal

supervision

Effective written and verbal communication skills
