The Produce/Salad Bar Clerk is responsible for keeping sales counters stocked with attractively displayed products prepare (salads, fresh cut fruits, etc.), make and package department-related products; provide high-quality customer service; check product quantity and quality; package and stamp prices on products; carry out product rotation; ensure that the department is clean and tidy; adhere to company standards and policies in your work; and perform any other tasks deemed necessary as part of the job and/or by your supervisor.

SALAD BAR/PRODUCE CLERK RESPONSIBILITIES:

Participate in all manner of store maintenance and cleanliness
Comply fully with all health and safety procedures.
Prepare fresh cut salads, fruit trays and precut packages, veggie trays, etc. following recipe cards and ensuring quality products.
Ensure proper facing of products, and handle product damages and credits according to company policy.
Other duties as assigned

Ability to perform repetitive heavy lifting and cutting of fruits and vegetables.

Good organizational, time management and prioritizing skills
Strong work ethic and positive team attitude

Experience you bring:

The ideal individual would have some experience however this is not a requirement. We will provide you with training to set you up for success.

Availability:

This position could be offered to 2 part timers or 1 full timer. Salad bar shifts are typically 6-2:30 or 7-3:30 and produce department shifts are 7-3:30/8-4:30/9:30-6. A full time clerk must be available for 5x 8 hour shifts between the hours of 7am
- store close.
