We have an exciting opportunity for a
Project Manager to join our
Infrastructure team based in
Hamilton.

We are looking for a proactive and adaptable professional to manage delivery of transportation and/or Three Waters infrastructure projects.


This is a rare opportunity to utilise your project management skills and strengthen your leadership skills across complex infrastructure projects.


The value you'll add

  • Proactively plan and manage successful completion of infrastructure projects and/or programmes of projects within budgets, timeframes and performance and risk standards
  • Establish and lead high performance project delivery teams
  • Develop procurement strategies and manage the procurement phase, including preparing and reviewing tender submissions, negotiations, and recommendations
  • Manage contracts including monitoring performance and ensuring compliance
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with the internal and external stakeholders including clients, consultants and contractors to support effective project delivery
  • Proactively maintain a strong professional network to assist with business development
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements and proactively assess and manage risk

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years' experience managing and delivering successful civil infrastructure projects
  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Engineering or Management
  • Experience in construction procurement processes and contract management
  • Successful experience leading high performance project teams
  • High competence in Microsoft Office
  • Qualifications in formal project methodologies is desirable
  • Professional project management certifications (PRINCE2, PMP, MSP) and advanced P3M3 maturity is desirable
