    Description

    Role: Mechanical Engineer/Designer
    Salary: $75k+ (Based on Experience)

    Are you an intermediate to senior level engineer in the building industry? Does taking the lead on projects and mentoring others excite you? Do you have experience in being a project manager for commercial, institutional, and residential type projects? If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you Our client in Lloydminster is looking to expand their team with an experience Mechanical Designer.

    Summary:
    Our client is currently looking for a project manager/mechanical engineer who has experience in the building industry to come and join their growing team This role has great growth potential, and catapult your professional journey to a new level.

    • Responsibilities:
  • Be involved with preliminary design and engineering duties
  • Prepare detailed design calculations, layouts, and reports.
  • Partner with other disciplines to come up with solutions to complex issues to meet clients' needs
  • Mentor junior staff
  • Take a lead within projects to ensure timelines
  • Be involved in all aspects of projects - contractors, subcontractors, site visit, and client facing responsibilities
  • Have an excellent sense of urgency, able to meet tight deadlines, and problem solve unexpected challenges.
  • Be involved with business development, and build client relationships
    • Requirements:
  • Registered or eligible for registration with PEO, APEGA, or other professional association
  • Must have excellent time management skills, be able to delegate, and be a self starter
  • Analytically inclined with a strong sense of problem solving
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with other disciplines
  • Effective communication with ability to bring forward ideas and solve challenging, complex issues.
