SUMMARY
BGIS Canada comprehensive Business Management System is fully integrated in all company activities. It starts with full commitment by all leaders and employees and progresses to a continuous process improvement culture. The
Quality Manager shall promote this commitment through quality initiatives throughout the company.

The role of the Quality Manager is defined in BGIS Canada Business Management System and supports the Senior Management Quality representative.

The Quality Manager has the responsibility and authority for ensuring that a Quality Management System for BGIS Canada is established, implemented, maintained and updated in accordance with ISO 9001/2008 and all current revisions.


KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve BGIS Canada business management system.
  • Establish and maintain an online repository and gate keeping process for policies, processes and procedures on the BGISs Canada intranet site.
  • Ensure that the business management plan is current and approved with respect to BGIS Canada operations.
  • Responsible for quality managementrelated processes and procedures such as the document control process defined in the ESQ business process, ESQ-Q3 document and data control.
  • Train team members in basic and advanced quality and internal auditing courses.
  • Assist customer business groups and supply chain management in developing effective service provider audits and assessments.
  • Establish and promote QMS documentation framework for BGIS Canada including policy, process, procedure, forms and guidelines.
  • Lead and coordinate a formal management review of the business management system which includes all business process documentation on an annual basis.
  • Manage the BGIS Canada nonconformance, corrective and preventative actions tracking system and proper implementation of this system.
  • Undertake and manage business management system audits and required internal audits to support registration and effectiveness of the business management system.
  • Coordinate leadership team deliverables in relation to the business management plan.
  • Review and recommend changes to BGIS Canada business management system with JCI global workplace solutions to ensure alignment.
  • Support writing, implementing and maintaining corporate and client specific policies and procedures with regards to quality.
  • Provide liaison to the clients on quality related matters.
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of ISO9000 registration for the corporation and applicable contracts.

  • Provide direction to internal departments on quality system issues and requirements.
  • Provide input to the Continuous Improvement Team based on observations from nonconformance reports, internal and external audits.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • College or University degree or equivalent training (e.g. RPA, CET)
  • 510 years or more of jobrelated experience
  • Formal training in quality assurance & quality management principles
  • Knowledge of financial controls
  • BGIS processes familiarity (call centre processes, advanced customer client relations, quality advocate training)
  • Good computer skills
