At our
Stratford Facility Arrow Engineered Products -We design and manufacture turn key solutions for a vast variety of customers in need of Nuclear, Chemical Mixing, Heat exchanger, Autoclave Systems requirements including Fuel storage and misc.

custom designed Pressure and non pressure designs, Following ASME, PED, ULC and API certified design criteria.


Day: 6:00am - 4:30pm Monday to Thursday

Responsibilities:


  • Sand blast (Steel shot / Glass bead) the surfaces of the steel to meet desired Customer and Quality Standards.
  • Scuff / rough surface of steel in order to promote a good base for paint to adhere.
  • Plug / Mask Off all thread holes and machine surfaces that do not require paint.
  • Vacuum or use compressed air to ensure sand and grit particles are removed from metal surface before painting procedure begins.
  • Follow all Occupational Health & Safety Rules and Regulations and Company Policies and Procedures.
  • Maintain a constant awareness of sand and inventory supply.
  • Inform Lead hand or Supervisor on the status of inventory so it may be replenished.
  • Meet daily production demands.
  • Maintain a clean work area at all times.
  • Daily cleaning of all tools is required.
  • Prep material for painting.
  • Mix paint according to supplier specs.
  • Passivate and wash down Stainless Steel tanks
  • Set up and Hydro Test Pressure Vessels

Your Skills Set:


  • 13 years previous work related experience in blasting / Painting
  • Detailed oriented as quality standards must be met.
  • Overhead crane and tow motor training along with other various training on industry related lifting devices.
  • Automotive or industry related painting and bodywork experience.

WORKING CONDITIONS:


Physical Effort.

  • Physically demanding, awkward posture

Repetitive use of:
hands/fingers/arms. Bending, kneeling, crouching, lifting, standing. Climbing up ladders or onto platform to work at different heights/levels. Manually Lifting up to 30lbs.


Physical Environment:


  • Work performed outside in all elements.
  • Vibrations, dust, moderate noise, and slippery conditions,
  • Work may be performed in a confined work area or space.

Sensory Attention:


  • Attention to detail, surfaces must meet QA Standards.
  • Work must be performed in a timely manner.
  • Personal Protective Equipment must be worn at all times.

Mental Stress:


  • A degree of stress relating to customer, manufacturing, Quality Assurance expectations.
  • Ability to meet just in time deliveries of products.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload.
