Description
Alliance Technology Associates helps small to medium size companies leverage technology to run their business. We provide consulting, implementation and support for various technology solutions.

We build and secure networks, implement cloud solutions (such as Google Workspace and Microsoft 365), provide support for PCs and Macs and mobile devices.

We are essentially the IT department for our clients.


Our aim is to provide worry-free information technology service for our clients so they can focus on building and growing their business.


Key Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibility will be to maintain our clients IT environment and provide client support. At the same time, deliver exception service in a friendly and professional manner.

  • Performing maintenance and administrative tasks on client networks and devices
  • Proactively monitor managed client networks and end point devices
  • Troubleshoot technical issues remotely and onsite
  • Majority of our work is performed remotely but there are occasional travel to client sites (12 days per week)
  • Onsite network cabling, network equipment and other hardware (e.g. workstations and printers) installation
  • Some physical labour is necessary (such as lifting ladder, network rack, computers, printers, etc.)
  • Completing service tickets and creating and maintaining documentation
  • Staying current with technology and improving your skills and knowledge

General Requirements:

  • Legally able to work in Canada
  • Drivers license and vehicle
  • Strong communication skills (English written and verbal)
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Detailoriented and takes pride in quality of work

Technical Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Windows 10 and 11 (Configuration, administration and troubleshooting)
  • Mac OSX (Configuration, administration and troubleshooting)
  • Experience in supporting mobile devices (iOS and Android)
  • Strong understanding of networking and network security
  • Help desk/technical support experience: minimum 2 years
  • Computer networking experience: minimum 2 years

Salary:
$45,000.00-$50,000.00 per year
