Complaints Investigator- Part time, Term**College of Pharmacists of Manitoba, Winnipeg
The College of Pharmacists of Manitoba seeks a dynamic individual to work with the Complaints and Discipline team as a Complaints Investigator.
This is a 0.70 FTE term position to supplement the 1.00 FTE permanent position also being advertised at this time.
About the Position
Assets include a working knowledge of health-professions legislation, including the Pharmaceutical Act of Manitoba and supporting Pharmaceutical regulations, administrative, organizational and time management skills, and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
Qualifications
- Postsecondary degree in pharmacy, law, or other regulated health profession, or a background in law enforcement and investigation
- Knowledge of administrative law and regulation of selfgoverning professionals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated discretion and tact in observing privacy and confidentiality policies
Assets
- National Certified Investigator and Inspector Training (NCIT), as offered by the Council on Licensure, Enforcement and Regulation (CLEAR)
Conditions of
Employment
- This is a 0.70 FTE, based on a 37.5hour work week (26 hours per week)
- This is a 6month term, with potential to develop into a permanent position.
- Weekly work schedule flexible, as mutually agreed upon with employer.
- Work model includes a mix of remote and onsite work; onsite required initially to effectively accomplish training and collaboration.
- Valid driver's licence
- Must have access to vehicle for independent transportation within Manitoba
- Satisfactory criminal record check
Compensation and Benefits
- Competitive compensation negotiated commensurate with experience and qualifications
- Travel shall be reimbursed at a predetermined rate per kilometer
