Summary of the role
We are looking for a finance professional to join our project management team.
Under the supervision of the Director - Project Management, the Project Controller will participate in the rigorous monitoring of costs for all stages of our projects, from design to commissioning of plant automation equipment.
With a solid background in finance and administration, as well as a keen interest in technology projects, this person will contribute, among other things, to the achievement of financial objectives and the continuous improvement of processes.
- Control project costs;
- Prepare project schedules and execution plans.
- Prepare project reports (internal and external);
- Create and maintain projects in SAP;
- Prepare project cash flow;
- Collaborate on project document management;
- Help prepare change requests
- Contribute to contractual risk management and project strategy support;
- Contribute to analyses and make recommendations to management;

- College degree or certificate in administration, finance or management;
- Three (3) to five (5) minimum years of experience as a project assistant or in a similar role;
- Strong interpersonal skills;
- Good understanding of project management in a manufacturing or construction environment;
- Good verbal and written communication skills (French/English);
- Autonomous with ability to work with multifunctional teams;
- Experience with SAP or other ERP systems;
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel;
- Knowledge of planning tools (e.g. Primavera or MS-Project)
- Knowledge of businessrelated financial and commercial issues;
