Description
We are looking to hire a Inventory Control Supervisor for our Contract Logistics division/office based in Mississauga.

Your Role :

The Inventory Supervisor is responsible for directing the daily activities of the inventory department, including labour scheduling, supervision and the proper utilization of manpower, equipment and space for the safe, high-quality and productive delivery of third-party logistics services to the client.


Your Responsibilities:


  • To manage and oversee all aspects of Inventory Control including:
  • Assembling, sorting and packing
  • Plan labor needs to fulfill and perform all defined inventory management functions (esp. cycle counting).
  • Interact with Operations Manager(s) and Warehouse Supervisor(s) to establish goals.
  • Ensure current and accurate inventory control and stock reconciliation for each account
  • Root cause analysis of discovered inventory discrepancies and document their resolution
  • Resolve discovered inventory issues during operations
  • Maintain and further develop processes working instructions in regards to inventory control
  • Supervise the inventory quality and accuracy assurance programs, including measurement of inventory KPI's in weekly and monthly reports
  • To ensure accurate and uptodate accurate Item Masterdata
  • Develop and maintain process for inventory claims, returns and damaged goodshandling and identifymeasures to reducedamages
  • To ensure that daily cycle counting is undertaking in accordance with international CL and client guidelines
  • Organize product disposal in accordance with customer guideline and local legal and environmental regulations
  • Planning and management of annual stockcount in accordance with customer requirements and KN CL guidelines
  • Manage product launches using established new launch process, assigning appropriate pick locations and ensuring zero inventory loss
  • Gather KPI data and produce routine reports
  • Escalate customer issues to Manager quickly, when necessary
  • Participate in conference calls and meetings, when necessary
  • Supports compliance of site and personnel activities to GMP's and ISO standards
  • Continuously assess, train, coach, mentor and develop personnel both informally and through formal training programs, provide job performance based feedback
  • Together with the Site Quality Manager, drive QSHE implementation and compliance
  • Ensure that all quality and regulatory requirements of Health Canada and other applicable authorities and client requirements are met
  • Report operational issues and IT issues
  • Other duties that may be assigned

Your Skills and Experiences:


  • 3+ years' experience in Inventory / Contract Logistics / 3PL / Distribution Centre / Warehouse environment
  • 12 years' leadership / supervisory experience with 5+ direct reports
  • Experience in a highvolume, fastpaced warehouse environment
  • Experience in organizing scale labour force for 50+ resources
  • Ability to work various shifts when required in a 24/7 environment
