Responsibility 1:

In collaboration with the inventory planning team and its manager, schedule delivery appointments and the receipt of resale merchandise (glass and accessories) at the Distribution Center and at our external storage partner.

Coordinate with the inventory planning team the availability of merchandise in relation to parts receiving requirements.
Coordinate the receipt of goods from carriers and dealers
Update in real time the tracking file for arrivals and container deliveries.
Verify conformity of goods receipt documents and follow up if prereceipt documents are not received (ASN (Advanced Shipment Notice), Purchase Order, case identification list (packing list)).
On the day of delivery, responsible for coordinating unloading (assigning door to driver, providing unloading instructions to handler)
Verify and inspect the quality of glass purchased from dealers (buy out) and place it in the appropriate location.
Receive crossdock glass (interwarehouse transfer), place it in the appropriate location and track its shipment
Verify accuracy of information in AS400 (if required), perform receipt in WMS system and print receipt documentation to be placed on crates for stocking
Process claims for discrepancies between quantities ordered and received (entry in discrepancy file, inventory adjustment in WMS).

Responsibility:
Responsible for receiving and inspecting incoming merchandise and packages (not for resale) at the loading dock.

Greet merchandise deliverers and assign the receiving/shipping door, in collaboration with the shipping supervisor, according to availability and scheduled appointments.
Responsible for receiving merchandise, checking merchandise against delivery slip and signing delivery slip
Verify the consignee and contact him/her to coordinate the handover of the merchandise
Monitor the delivery of parcels received and dispatched by mail carriers (UPS, Fed Ex, etc.)
Responsible for shipping parcels to be returned and having the driver sign the packing slip.

Monitor the delivery and dispatch of internal mail in collaboration with the General Services Department.

Responsibility:
Perform administrative tasks related to inventory and operations.

Consult the L-VANFAXRECEPTION mailbox and respond to Vanfax customer requests related to its job description.
Manage the RECEPTION_6291 mailbox by responding to various requests related to merchandise delivery and appointments.
Prepare daily file of requests for transfer of goods stored externally to the distribution center.
Record daily employee productivity hours in the Excel file reported by employees on the time sheet.
Record daily breakdowns of motorized equipment reported during inspections.
Organize and file receiving documents and timesheets in appropriate binders.
Assist Inventory and Operations Supervisor with other administrative tasks.
