Opportunity
The Project Manager will work on design, scope, and building rewarding projects. Although our office is located in Burnaby, travel to/from different job sites will be required with this role.


Responsibilities

  • Attend project handover meetings with the estimating team.
  • Read, interpret and understand project scopes and responsibilities.
  • Setup projects in our internal project management system(s).
  • Effectively track multiple project documentation workflows across an array of projects to ensure deliverables are met.
  • Ensure all project stakeholders have correct, uptodate information throughout a projects lifespan.
  • Effectively manage and maintain all written and verbal project communications
  • Maintain client satisfaction and promptly resolve any concerns
  • Work with the Project Management team to develop and manage schedules, resources plan, procurement, project commissioning and risk mitigation strategies, while controlling costs and maximizing productivity through the implementation of best practices and standard processes

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, as well as interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project software
  • Able to work independently, manage time effectively, and work with multiple deadline
  • Experience in Procore project management software is an asset.

At least 2 of the following:

  • Minimum 5 years experience as a Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber
  • Minimum 5 years experience in the Construction Industry
  • Postsecondary education from a mechanical program
  • Minimum 4 years previous project coordination / management experience
  • PMP Certification or MBA
  • P. Eng designation

Please note that we are accepting local applicants only at this time due to the required start time. Mechanical and/or plumbing experience is a strong asset for this role.

Salary:
$80,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
