We are looking for an Electrical Assembler (not an assembly line role) to join our team in Guelph in this full-time role.

3:00 p.m.

1:30 a.m.

Key Responsibilities
These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary:

Experience in reading wiring schematics/diagrams and mechanical blueprints and troubleshooting wiring and mechanical issues
Able to visualize and plan the assembly of a product based on wiring schematics and mechanical blueprints
These duties and responsibilities are not exhaustive and will be supplemented as necessary
Perform electrical wiring techniques (stripping, terminating, crimping)

Requirements:

Electrical and mechanical knowledge
Must be mechanically inclined and have demonstrated knowledge/ability to read and interpret schematics/blueprints, shop drawings, manuals, etc.
Demonstrates a high level of operational understanding of work practices, technology, and SRA's
Must be willing to learn, understand, and adhere to all policies, practices and procedures
Must be able to operate a wide variety of machinery as part of the manufacturing processes (pipe/conduit/tube benders, grinders, drills, etc.
Perform selfinspection to verify that all components match applicable drawings

Nice to have skills:

Experience with PLCs and robotics systems
Position, install, and secure all subcomponents into various pieces of equipment as per appropriate drawings
Fabricate, assemble and hydrotest PVC, PP, and PVDF pipe spools

Salary:
$23.00 per hour
