Shift:
Monday to Friday

We are looking for our client, a world-wide fashion leader, an Inventory Control Manager.

The Inventory Manager is responsible to carry out extensive analysis and research to understand, surface, and correct any variances in our inventory.


As part of the operation leadership team collaborates with all team members to ensure adherence to processes, highlight any discrepancies and set ways to improve and prevent future incidences.

Also, coordinates new processes and drive execution across departments.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing the sitebased Inventory Control team:
  • Understanding the different goals of the department to manage the resources available accordingly
  • Analyzing the performance of each member under supervision
  • Planning the dimensions of the team and ensuring the availability of resources when needed
  • Monitor KPIs regarding accuracy and integrity of Inventory transactions; you'll provide feedback to Operations where necessary.
  • On a daily, weekly and monthly basis: develop and execute action plans for increasing quality, inventory accuracy and service satisfaction partnering with management and other department managers in the operation.
  • Coordinating the implementation of new processes and layout modifications in the warehouse: defining a plan and coordinating the resources needed and the responsibilities. Maintains inventory accuracy, both physically and systematically by monitoring, validating and tracking inventory moves associated with all processes.
  • Investigates and escalates inventory discrepancies and strives to continuously improve procedures and processes to improve quality and accuracy.
  • Ensure accurate setup and maintenance and adherence of warehouse management system including but not limited to item master, footprints, locations maintenance, replenishment, and cycle counts.
  • Schedules, coordinates and performs planned cycle counts, count near zero, and physical counts in accordance with internal expectations and customer requirements.
  • Investigates inventory variances, adjusts inventory records, if necessary, determines root cause and recommends corrective and improvement actions.
  • Coordinates control of damaged and defective products, and customer claims, ensuring any inventory changes are accounted for and properly processed to the expectations of the customer.
  • Provide feedback and where necessary, reports to manager and supervisors regarding operational accuracy from the results of inbound and outbound audits, inventory counts, and system related user errors.
  • Communicate with managers, supervisors, and customer regarding inventory issues including the existence, cause, and resolution of inventory variances.
  • Achieve set targets (described below) and objectives relating to inventory control management, provides communication and suggests inventory and process related improvements.
  • Works closely with operations team to control inventory flow and placement to maximize efficiency.
  • Report inventory control activity and performance results as further defined by your manager and customer service level agreements.
  • Create and maintain up todate inventory control procedures.
  • Asist where necessary in training team members on inventory SOPs

REQUIREMENTS:


  • Strong analytical, data evaluation, problemsolving, presentation skills.
  • Ability to translate data analysis into frameworks and action plans and lead execution
  • You'll also need time management skills, to help you tackle operational challenges.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, as well as demonstrated ability to manage, motivate and positively influence team behaviours.

EXPERIENCE

  • Proven Success in an Inventory Management role
  • Working experience in 3PL.
  • Experience with Radio frequency ID systems (RFID), bar code systems and electronic data interchange (EDI) may be required.
