The Brandt Group of Companies is currently looking to fill a Financial Analyst position within our Investments group. Based out of our head office in Regina, SK and reporting to the Manager of Investments, this position plays a pivotal role in supporting growth and other key initiatives across our various companies and lines of business including dealership, real estate and manufacturing operations. Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Dealer Development & Real Estate Strategy
· Assist in the development of financial and operational projections used to inform real estate investment and facility programming decisions.
· Assess the financial viability of expanding product/service offerings within our network.
Mergers & Acquisitions
· Perform detailed, fundamental analysis on companies, including analyzing financial statements, preparing financial models and deriving valuation recommendations.
· Assist in the completion of acquisition due diligence procedures, including analyzing information received and compiling reports for executive management and ownership.
Performance Analysis & Forecasting
· Maintain and update financial models that summarize performance relative to budget and/or project future operating results.
· Prepare reports on industry developments including peer, competitor and OEM performance as well as trends in key economic indicators and commodity prices.
· Assist in the development and completion of annual financial budgets and projections.
· Development of performance return information (e.g. IRR, total return, etc.) for existing and acquired businesses, and prepare various management reports.

Required Skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify, collect, and manipulate relevant data/information and apply appropriate methods to analyze and address problems.

Required Experience
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent required. Preference given to candidates with demonstrated knowledge in Corporate Finance or Investment Analysis, such as CFA related qualifications.
· 1 - 3 year(s) experience working as a financial analyst in a comparable role/capacity.
· Strong financial acumen, including in the areas of business valuation, corporate finance and financial modelling.
· Proficient in Excel, Power Query and Power BI.
