    About The Team

    The Business Process Analyst will join the Operational Excellence and Digital Transformation team within the Supply Chain Management (SCM) organization at FIS. Our team is responsible for optimizing operational efficiencies of supply chain business processes through the agile and innovative uses of technology to enable control, insight, and rapid decision making. We value collaboration and teamwork, and our team members work closely together to develop and implement strategies for modernizing the Supply Chain organization of the future..

    About the Role

    The Business Process Analyst will support the optimization of supply chain business processes to improve overall organization performance using tech or non-tech operational improvements. The department focuses on developing and implementing operational excellence strategies that will modernize the Supply Chain organization of the future by improving communication, data synergy, and streamlining process for automation.

    *The position will be fully remote, with occasional travel to the office as needed. In-person outtings will be organized for the co-op students during the term and attendance is encouraged.

    What You Will Be Doing

    We are looking for a Business Process Analyst Co-op who will support the end-to-end operational transformation team. As a co-op, you will work closely with the team to support process analysis and enhancement with key functional departments and across customer journeys. You will help develop internal controls and management reporting to monitor and measure the effectiveness of improvement initiatives. You will support the planning, development, and implementation of operational excellence strategies. Example work areas will include:

    • Analyze end-to-end business processes within the supply chain to identify areas for improvement and optimization
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and define business process improvements
    • Develop process maps, workflow diagrams, and documentation to support process analysis and improvement efforts
    • Assist in the implementation and deployment of process improvement initiatives
    • Support the monitoring and measurement of key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of process improvements

    What You Bring

    • Enrolled in a Bachelor's program in Business, Commerce, Mathematics, Operations, or a related field
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to dissect complex processes and identify opportunities for improvement
    • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
    • Excellent proactive communication skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and convey complex ideas clearly
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on analytical and process mapping tools such as Excel and Visio
    • Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma) is a plus
    • Self-motivated and a willingness to learn
