Accounts Receivable Clerk at our Administration Office in
Nanaimo, BC.

Things you'll do:

Reporting to the Office Manager, this position is responsible for providing accounting and administrative support to the Mid Island Co-op and its members, ensuring effective and efficient office operations.

Processing, reconciling, and auditing daily business.
Preparing daily bank deposits.
Posting members payments by recording cash, cheques, credit card and preauthorized debit transactions.
Performing administrative and clerical tasks, such as data entry, preparing invoices, sending bill reminders, filing paperwork, and contacting clients to discuss their accounts.
Verifying validity of account discrepancies by obtaining and investigating information from daily business and from customers.
Processing, verifying, and posting receipts for goods sold or services rendered.
Maintaining records regarding payments and account statuses.
Managing incoming and outgoing accounts receivable mail.
Cardlock and service card maintenance.
Obtaining information to ensure records are accurate and complete and that accounts receivable ledgers and journals entries are up to date.
Working with the credit manager to review accounts and members payments.
Generating weekly and monthly reports for internal use.
Generating weekly and monthly members invoices and statements.
Representing Mid Island Coop by being an ambassador and demonstrating our values of Community, Respect, Integrity, and Teamwork.
