We are the premier houseboat destination on Shuswap Lake. With 1100 km of shoreline to explore onboard our luxurious Twin Anchor houseboats. Our guests have the ability to adventure and see the many highlights of the lake or relax on their houseboat. We are located at the largest marina on Shuswap lake surrounded by mountain scenery. It is the perfect location for after work adventures and to work in beautiful Sicamous, BC. Our company goal is to supply excellent service, support and an amazing guest experience so they can create lasting memories on their Twin Anchors Houseboat Vacation.     Job Description

    Job Title:

    Porter Personnel – Twin Anchors Houseboats

    Job Function:

    Assist guests with their belongings and ensure a smooth flow of activity for the customer in accordance with the Quality System and meet time commitments

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Transport guests' belongings from their vehicles to assigned boats as efficiently as possible
    • Assist guests in appropriate parking of vehicles
    • Perform functions of customer service as required
    • Removal of garbage from the dock and property
    • Performs other duties or support to co-workers as the pressures dictate within the Twin Anchors' environment

    Required Skills and Knowledge:

    • Strong communication skills
    • Experience in customer service or related abilities
    • WHMIS training

    Preferred Knowledge/Experience:

    • Hospitality/Tourism training or work experience
    • Experience driving a quad
    • Experience with backing up trailers (vehicle and quads)
    • Knowledge of the houseboat industry or marine environment
    • Experience dealing with conflict

    *Must currently be legally able to work in Canada*
