Lumber Manager at our
Moosomin Home Centre.

What you'll do:


The Lumber Manager will be responsible for the overall operation of the Lumber Department including customer service, inventory control, budgeting, staffing, asset protection, and health and safety.

The Manager will provide leadership, direction, and support to ensure the business delivers trusted products and services to the local community.


  • Ensure established sale targets and margins are obtained.
  • Explore opportunities for growth and product selection.
  • Develop relationships with customers and product vendors.

Who you are:

You are looking for a career in Home & Building Products and:

  • You're experienced in leading a team with a focus on customer service.
  • You have a large knowledge base of the various products sold within the lumber department.
  • You have 5 years management experience with a construction background being an asset.
  • You're honest and trustworthy, are resultsoriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
  • You believe in building relationships and collaborating to deliver solutions that matter most, and you recognize the value that different perspectives bring to meet shared objectives.
