Primary Role


As a Regional Sales Manager (RSM), you will play a key role in setting and achieving daily and long-term sales goals and practices within your territory.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and Business Development, you will contribute to the company's efforts in maintaining and expanding its customer base by charting the course towards achieving regional objectives.

You will become the point of contact for the assigned region, exerting direct influence on the customer experience of your dealer network.


Roles and Responsibilities:


  • Develop the regional action plan to define strategic priorities and key actions ensuring longterm development.
  • Achieve set sales targets sets for your region by implementing appropriate action plans for your customers.
  • Analyze the performance of each customer, identify improvement opportunities, and address underperformance situations.
  • Identify opportunities to improve network geographical coverage and performance to support growth in the assigned region.
  • Encourage strong engagement within your network in participating in promotional activities, adhering to procedures, and marketing programs.
  • Actively work with your customers to manage order, submission, and purchase order processes.
  • Utilize necessary tools to track progress : customer visit planning, visit followup reports, tracking issues and opportunities.
  • Ensure frequent and effective use of demos, identify local marketing initiatives, and support them with the MOTREC marketing team.
  • Develop and maintain an effective, professional, and longterm relationship with your dealer network to achieve revenue and profitability goals.
  • Demonstrate a "business partner" approach to support strategy execution.
  • Ensure adequate support for dealerlevel opportunity and submission management.
  • Assist dealers in resolving their problems.
  • Inform dealers about best practices to achieve goals and foster a high level of engagement.
  • Analyze MOTREC penetration with your customers to identify improvement opportunities.

Skills and qualifications required:


  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in an industrial B2B sales position.
  • Bilingual in French and English. Spanish is an asset.
  • Resultsoriented attitude.
  • Analytical mindset with a strong ability to understand market and customer issues.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a "partner" attitude.
  • High level of flexibility and adaptability.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Knowledge in MS Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software, HubSpot, etc.
  • National and international travel required (Valid passport).
