What You Will Do
- Demonstrate a high level of initiative on root cause analysis to drive improvement opportunities that enable selfserve, automation, stability, and scalability to reduce support and optimize our MES solutions.
- Design, develop, and implement solutions for defects, enhancements, and transformation of our Manufacturing Execution Systems.
- Document functional/technical specifications, architecture diagrams, and/or other documentation for support and ongoing optimization.
- Optimize agility and performance by leveraging cloud deployments, containerization, and serverless computing.
- Contribute to the design and architecture to enable secure, scalable and maintainable solutions.
- Contribute to technical roadmap and technical debt elimination, balancing time, resource, and quality constraints to achieve business and strategic outcomes.
- Perform oncall support for critical manufacturing systems.
- Stay uptodate with the latest technologies and best practices to contribute to the continuous improvement of our MES technologies.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (i.e. analyst, engineer, process controls, operations)
- Experience gathering business requirements from stakeholders
- Experience working in an agile team
- Experience in developing OR maintaining object oriented programming languages OR API Integrations (i.e. SQL, Python, JavaScript,.NET, and C#)
- Experience with Microsoft SQL or alternative relational databases
- Experience collaborating across multiple teams and capabilities such as Process Controls (i.e. PLC, SCADA/HMI), Manufacturing Operations, and Infrastructure teams to solve complex problems.
What Will Put You Ahead
- 2+ years experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (i.e. analyst, engineer, process controls, operations)
- Experience in CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery)
- Experience in analyzing OR developing in process controls (i.e. PLC, SCADA/HMI)
