Mission
Cost Control Manager will oversee cost management for our entire RSSOM project.

In this role, you will work collaboratively with various department managers to analyze costs, assess vendor relationships, and maximize profitability.

To succeed in this position, you will demonstrate an aptitude for efficiency, problem-solving, and resourcefulness, with a deep commitment to the bottom line without compromising quality.


Responsibilities

  • Work in conjunction with all department heads to ensure maximum profitability
  • Provide critical assessment of all budgets and cost projections
  • Assess all incoming products, resources, and services to ensure the best price
  • Maintain vendor and service provider relationships
  • Remain acutely aware of market trends that could impact resource costs
  • Keep up to date on new vendors and possible costcutting partnerships
  • Analyze invoices to ensure correct products/services were received at the expected cost
  • Collaborate with department heads to strategize ways to minimize waste
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the interdependency of cost drivers
  • Understand the entire arc of the business and how productivity impacts profitability
  • Commit to maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality
  • Develop and implement proactive solutions and costcutting measures
  • Present new strategies and assessments to stakeholders in a compelling fashion
  • Educate and persuade stakeholders to procure buyin and cooperation
  • Roll out clear costsaving programs with timelines and assessment goals
  • Responsible to control and monitor project total expenditure including verifying and checking of invoices and claims from suppliers, vendors and subcontractors to ensure that all project expenditures are captured and properly recorded.
  • Provide planning and cost controlling support for all projects which includes variation reporting, monitoring of milestone progress to the preparation of customer billing processes, etc
  • Perform and manage project activity scheduling and monitoring
  • Perform technical and commercial review of EPCI long time tenders (subcontractor's quotations) for the preparation of Service agreements
  • Ensure effective project implementation and utilize productive reports from the creation of WBS with the use of project management system to monitor the status of all purchases, invoicing and delivery up to the closure of the project.
  • Prepare monthly vessel movement report for the monitoring of the vessel activities daily and register all downtime, consumptions and vessel related issues relating to the project promptly to the project manager and management.
  • Coordinate and work with the project management team to resolve project issues to ensure the delivery/completion of the project work.
  • Attend project meetings and discussions with the PMT and external clients
  • Perform project costing related reporting to the team and management's review on a monthly basis to ensure that expenditures are kept within the project budget.
  • Provide cost control and planning advice to the internal PMT team as and when required.
  • Undertake any other adhoc duties as required.

Profile

  • Degree in Management with specialization in Project Management or Cost Control related training.
  • Min 4 years relevant and similar capacity in project estimating and cost controlling preferably in Offshore Construction/EPCIC industry.
  • Technically strong in project cost planning, scheduling and reporting.
  • Knowledge in the use of MS Project, Primavera Scheduling and SAP software's is highly advantageous
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills and meticulous
  • Possess good project background and technical writing ability and skills.
  • Mature, proactive, resourceful and handson with good initiative.
  • Independent worker who can work well with mínimal supervision.
  • Fast worker with ability to work well under stress.

Job Types:
