What does a Team Lead Security Guard in Calgary do?
Educate the team on any foreseeable issues for the day.
Review the deportment and uniform of the guards at the start of the shift.
Patrolling minimum 15-20 km in a shift. Conducting interior, exterior and parkade patrols.

Conducting daily functions of the security unit including access control, security escorts, responding to calls for service, report writing/note taking.

Performing property inspections and enforce property laws, client rules, and other regulations.
Provide keys and temporary pass to visitors/employees.
Liaising with visitors, customers. and the general public on a consistent basis.
Providing customer service information and assist in handling the questions of visitors.
Maintaining a positive, productive work environment through positive teamwork.
Removing unauthorized individuals from the property in a safe manner.

Qualifications to become a Team Lead Security Guard in Calgary
Good verbal and written communication skills
Previous experience in the security industry (asset)
Valid Alberta Security Guard licence
Strong computer skills
Customer service oriented
Security clearance reliability
Must be available 7 days a week for 12 hour rotational shifts rotational shifts
Leadership and problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a stressful environment
