AD Technical Services is a professional engineering firm focused on providing project management and quality control support to heavy civil construction projects in Northwestern Ontario.
Our staff are trained to assist our clients from project planning, through construction, and project closing.
We are currently looking to expand our field team with the addition of a Surveyor who is interested in working in the construction and mining industries.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Perform tasks using proper safety procedures
- Read and understand project specifications and engineering drawings
- Create and edit drawings using AutoCAD and Civil 3D
- Perform surveys using basic survey equipment up to total station and GPS RTK as required for the tasks
- Ensure equipment, tools and materials are kept in good working condition
- Maintain collected data and paperwork in an organized fashion
- Behave in a professional and appropriate manner
Required Knowledge and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be legally able to work in Canada
- Must have a valid G driver's licence
- Understand basic survey principals
- Attention to detail
- 2+ years of construction or mining experience
- Good written and oral communication skills
Additional Assets:
- Working towards a Diploma in Civil Engineering or similar
- 2+ years of survey experience
- Comfortable working around heavy equipment
- Work well in a team
- Motivated to complete tasks with mínimal supervision
- Comfortable using Microsoft office software
- Able to follow procedural directions
