_We are looking for an EXPERIENCED _Floorhand _
based out of the CENTRAL ZONE (Leduc, AB). With placements on rigs locally and rigs working with camp/hotel accommodations. _

The primary purpose of this role is to operate tongs, assist on the rig floor and keep the rig and surrounding areas clean.

Assist all crew as directed.


This instrumental role involves:


  • Following and enforcing relevant policies, regulations, and standards per JHA's and SOP's Experience
  • Operation and maintenance of Power Tongs and Rod Tongs
  • Effectively assist other members of the crew
  • Cleaning and maintaining the equipment of a well servicing rig
  • Understanding the job scope, potential hazards, rules and regulations and equipment considerations
  • Supporting Savanna's core values in all aspects of daytoday operations and decisionmaking

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:


  • A teamplayer with the ability to build good work relationships
  • Ability to effectively lead and mentor other individuals
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to maintain composure under stressful conditions
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage his/her own time & tasks effectively
  • Attentiveness and good listening skills
  • Reliable with strong safety values
  • Relevant functional and technical skills
  • Valid H2S Alive Certification and First Aid Certification
  • Enform
    Floorhand Competency preferred
  • Class 5 Driver's License with airbrakes endorsement is preferred
  • Class 1, 3, 5Q Driver's License considered an asset

Job Types:

Salary:
$60,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
