Browns Socialhouse has an incredible opportunity for an Assistant ManagerKey Responsibilities:
Take an active role in service during all operating hours; Uphold the Browns Socialhouse commitment to quality in service with ongoing training of hourly staff; Maintain/support the high standard of quality represented in our Food and Beverage programs; Co-ordinate and conduct pre-shift meetings; HR Management including hiring, training, performance management and schedule writing; Maintain daily communication for Food, Wine and Beverage details as they relate to service; Develop product knowledge through ongoing training, seminars and tastings; Inventory and cost control management; Ability to foster a work culture where staff development and a job well done are recognized; Develop and maintain a regular clientele; Increase Average Guest Check; Balance daily cash and meet labour targets.
Desired Skills, Experience & Qualifications:
At least one year of management or related experience working in the restaurant industry; Excellent interpersonal skills, guest service, and oral/written communication skills; Strong computer and office administration skills; The ability to train effectively and execute to deliver a great guest experience; A passion for food, beverage and all things related to the restaurant business; An ability to build and foster relationships, and commitment to People development; High attention to detail; Current First Aid, Serving It Right and Food Safe Certification.
