    Description

    Automation Test Developer

    On behalf of our client, Procom is looking for an Automation Test Developer. The successful candidate will be part of the Test Automation & Tools Development team involved in the delivery of software solutions that facilitate automated testing of the latest connectivity technologies. You will develop and maintain automated test scripts, test framework, and test tools.

    Responsibilities

    -Interface with development and test teams to understand testing requirements, and implement required test tools and tests scripts

    -Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with target under test

    -Develop and maintain software tools and features to assist in automated testing

    -Develop and maintain test libraries that interface with test management system and defect tracking system

    -Contribute to team deliverable through involvement in agile scrum development sprints

    Required Skills and Qualifications

    -Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

    -WIFI Functional testing or Embedded system testing

    -3+ years' experience in Python development

    -Experience with automated testing environment and frameworks (ie: Slash)

    -Experience with continuous integration system (Jenkins)

    -Analytical with the ability to produce creative and effective software solutions to problems

    -Strong verbal and written communication skills

    -Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving

    Nice to Have

    -Experience with REST APIs, and interfacing with Test Case management system (ie: TestRail) and Defect Tracking system (ie: JIRA)

    -Experience with database (SQL)

    -Ability to work in a multi-site team environment where self-driven and self-motivate capabilities are key qualities
