The Corporate FP&A Manager will play a critical role in supporting the Wave Leadership team with annual and monthly forecasting and analysis of business results, with a focus on operating cost control, including Headcount & Compensation.

Working closely, with the VP, Financial Planning & Analysis and the whole finance team, you will lead and manage the operational expenses of the company.

You will be the financial co-pilot to the People & Culture team, as well as operational leaders providing key insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and business development.


Here's How You Make an Impact:

  • Working closely with the People & Culture team, you will oversee the headcount & compensation model to forecast staffing needs, identify & analyze trends and support strategic workforce planning.
  • Conducting indepth cost analysis associated with various departments and identifying opportunities, assessing potential risks and offering financial guidance for cost optimization.
  • Providing insightful, timely and comprehensive expense analytics and reports on quarter end, forecasting/plan and an adhoc basis, including responding to queries from the leadership team and key stakeholders.
  • Evaluating financial performance against budget, key business metrics and benchmarks.
  • Collaborating with senior management to develop and refine the organization's financial and commercial strategy.
  • Building and maintaining complex financial models to support scenario analysis and decisionmaking.
  • Analyzing the financial impact of various business initiatives and providing recommendations based on modeling outcomes.
  • Collaborating with Accounting to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

You Thrive Here By Possessing the Following:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Holds a CPA in good standing with 5 7 years of professional experience.
  • High proficiency in Excel, Financial Modelling and data manipulation.
  • Experience with financial software and ERP systems is preferred particularly Workday.
  • Energized by the idea of being involved in driving business growth within a team environment.
  • Strong leadership and analytical skills with a good understanding of corporate finance.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to nonfinancial stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Experience in Human Resource business partnering / controlling is a plus.
  • Experience in the Payments industry, Financial Services and or SaaS is a plus.
