    Responsibilities :
  • Help plan, coordinate, and supervise efforts from other team members.
  • Meet with CMs, FAEs, sales reps to maintain strong relationships with distributors and manufacturers.
  • Review international standards (IEC, ISO, IPC, etc.) for product specification compliance.
  • Source and evaluate state-of-the-art electronic components.
  • Prepare design, manufacturing, and test documents/procedures.
  • Help in the bring-up of PCBAs, create test plans, generate test reports, perform Root Cause Analysis, and lead new design iterations.
  • Oversee and guide designs from other team members to ensure future manufacturability (DFM, DFA, DFT).
  • Interface and work in conjunction with CMs to bring the products to market and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Guide and mentor other members of the team.
  • Work closely with a variety of people/teams with different disciplines (mechanical, data science, software, industrial design, textile) for system integration.
  • Qualifications:

  • BSc, MSc or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or related fields.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in high-volume electronic hardware manufacturing.
  • Very good communication skills, being able to work efficiently in a multi-disciplinary team, as well as taking responsibility for a project and delivering it in a timely manner.
  • Experienced in analog/mixed-signal electronics circuitry including biomedical instrumentation.
  • Experience in ultra-low-power electronics.
  • Experience with high-density, miniaturized PCBs (e.g. 8+ layers, packages and smaller, 0.4mm WLCSP, and so on).
  • Knowledge of embedded software development concepts (baremetal, RTOS, interfacing prototcols, optimizations for power consumption).
  • Knowledge of ISO and/or IEC , , etc.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, leadership, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to contribute and work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Bonus:

  • Hands-on experience with designing, assembling, prototyping, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of analog/digital circuits and embedded software is an asset.
  • Experience in sensitive biosignal recording, instrumentation and signal processing techniques (ECG, EEG, EMG, GSR, etc) is a plus.
  • Having worked with Bluetooth Low Energy/WiFi/IoT microcontrolled boards is an asset.
  • RF and electromagnetism design experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency with simulation software such as Tina, LTSpice, and PCB design software such as Altium, Eagle.
  • Proficiency in operating electronics test equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzers, power supplies, and typical laboratory instruments.
