COMMUNICATIONS ASSOCIATE
Jackpot digital is leading manufacturer and developer of touchscreen dealerless poker and tables games for the cruise ship and land-based regulated casino industries.
Our business is expanding rapidly.
We seek an energetic individual to manage and expand our corporate communications initiatives and tell our story to new investors and on social media.
JOB SUMMARY:
This new role will focus on building and managing effective relationships with company stakeholders, which includes investors, brokers, asset managers, institutional investors, social media and the general public.
You will assist in coordinating investor relations activities, reporting to the VP Corporate Development, and will collaborate closely with our team in growing our shareholder base.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Create, prepare and disseminate corporate communications materials
- Organize and coordinate investor events
- Initiate telephone contact with new investors to set up discovery meetings
- Develop, update, and maintain presentations and fact sheets for marketing purposes
- Develop and maintain the investor database
- Develop and maintain a strong social media presence for the company
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT WILL POSSESS THE FOLLOWING ATTRIBUTES:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excel at telephone outreach to stakeholders
- Possess a general understanding of capital markets and basic business and financial economics
- Have a strong social media acumen
- Have a selfstarter mentality as we are an entrepreneurial organization
- Fluent in English, both verbal and written
- Strong knowledge of database software and MS Office
- Ability to obtain new discovery meetings with brokers, asset managers and institutional investors
- Strong interpersonal skills
- 23 years previous investor relations or communications experience is preferred
Salary:
$40,107.50-$72,316.35 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
