Nous recherchons un ingénieur en conception mécanique pour rejoindre notre équipe Pursuits Ce rôle consiste à soutenir et à diriger le processus intégré des poursuites en mettant l'accent sur la mécanique. Il s'agit d'un travail d'équipe qui consiste à travailler avec des groupes multidisciplinaires dans les domaines de l'estimation et de l'exploitation, à gérer le calendrier et à respecter les échéances clés. En tant qu'ingénieur en conception mécanique, vous devrez :
Soutenir et, à l'occasion, diriger des projets intégrés de diversification des modes de financement et d'approvisionnement (AFP) axés sur la mécanique.
Lire et comprendre clairement un cahier des charges ; examiner, comprendre et interpréter les spécifications et les dessins du travail et suivre le processus d'estimation afin d'établir des prix compétitifs et d'y contribuer.
Communiquer efficacement avec les parties prenantes pour recueillir des informations, clarifier les spécifications, la formulation, etc. et lors de réunions et de présentations avec les clients et les partenaires.
Travailler avec les équipes de conception pour s'assurer que la conception ne correspond pas seulement à la prescription, mais qu'elle est axée sur une conception efficace avec le contrôle des coûts au premier plan.
Travailler en collaboration avec nos consultants pour réaliser des schémas de systèmes afin de contribuer au processus d'estimation.
Aider à la production de devis de matériaux et de main-d'œuvre à l'aide d'un logiciel d'estimation afin d'élaborer des devis précis.
Assurer la coordination avec les sous-traitants et les fournisseurs afin d'obtenir des prix à inclure dans le devis final fourni au client.
Coordonner les exigences d'installation des systèmes avec les autres disciplines de conception, le cas échéant.
participer à la recherche de nouveaux systèmes, ressources, processus analytiques, procédures et pratiques de travail afin d'identifier et de mettre en œuvre des changements visant à accroître l'efficacité, la productivité et la rentabilité globale, et se tenir au courant des techniques, codes et normes en vigueur ainsi que des évolutions afin de maintenir et d'améliorer les compétences techniques
Participer à la clôture de l'appel d'offres, y compris aux réunions d'examen de l'appel d'offres.
Participer à la réunion de transfert avec l'équipe de gestion du projet après l'attribution.
Notre candidat idéal a :
Un minimum de cinq (5) ans d'expérience en ingénierie au sein de l'industrie de la construction ou des consultants en mécanique, axée sur les systèmes mécaniques des bâtiments (c.-à-d. CVC, hydronique, plomberie, réfrigération, protection contre les incendies).
Une expérience dans la réalisation de projets ICI Design Build / P3 est fortement souhaitée. Des projets de construction dans les secteurs de la santé, du gouvernement, des bureaux ou de l'hôtellerie sont un atout.
Connaissance pratique et compréhension de tous les codes et normes de construction pertinents (ASHRAE, OBC, NBC, NFPA, CSA) ;
Maîtrise de Microsoft Office ; une expérience avec Accubid Pro et/ou Enterprise est un atout.
Capacité à voyager, c'est-à-dire à assister à des réunions avec des architectes et des consultants.
Connaissance pratique d'AutoCAD et des spécifications du DDN, un atout ;
Ingénieur professionnel, titulaire d'une licence dans la province de l'Ontario ou ingénieur, titulaire d'une licence dans la province de Québec, est considéré comme un atout.
