  • JOB SUMMARY:

    Lantic is currently recruiting for the position of Maintenance Manager, based at our Montreal refinery. Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Maintenance Manager is responsible for managing the plant's infrastructure by planning the execution of the required work, maintenance activities as well as the technical training of employees. . The incumbent maintains all production equipment so that it performs (efficiency) and is available. The Maintenance Manager must manage costs within budget and manage all thermal power plant operations effectively and efficiently.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the physical integrity of employees (PPE, tools in order, work permits, hot permits and lockout);
  • Ensure the application of standards related to health and safety at work, in order to protect the physical integrity of staff and emergency plan managers.
  • Manage the collective work agreement and see to the development of the necessary technical skills;
  • Plan inspections and establish a maintenance schedule in order to meet quality requirements and standards/keep equipment in good condition;
  • After observation, analyze the operation of equipment and try to prevent breakage;
