Courier Driver - Montréal, Canada - Medair Time Critical

Description

Medair is a dedicated life science specialist courier. We are looking for a responsible, experienced individual to join us as a Courier Driver.

As a member of the team, you will receive orders from a centralized operations team, prepare specialized temperature-controlled packaging, and collect & deliver packages in a timely and safe manner.

Local deliveries in the greater Montreal region are most common, but regular cross-border deliveries are also required - you could be away for a few days at a time each week.

We will need you to be flexible, as weekend overtime is a possibility as well. You will be driving vans & small trucks.


Courier Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Pick up and transport packages, and all other deliverables within Canada & the USA
• Prepare specialized temperaturecontrolled packaging
• Ensure package safety and observe transportation requirements, such as temperature control requirements
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations
• Complete & verify specific documents for each shipment
• Communicate regularly with the Operations team

Courier Driver Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate
• Valid Class 5 license (anything beyond that isan asset)
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Safe driving skills and ability to multitask
• Strong customer service skills
• Able to cross into the US for cross border deliveries & collections
• Experience in border crossing is preferable

Pay:
$50,000.00-$55,000.00 per year

- delivery driving: 2 years (preferred)
