Description

Ape Squared is looking for a Production Manager like you to support our management team with your excellent organizational skills.

We are looking for someone highly motivated, reliable and task oriented. You'll report to and the Line Producer and APMs and PCs will report into you.

As a Production Manager, you will be working closely with supervisors and/or leads in tasking and scheduling of work, keeping in mind the overall show schedule.

Responsibilities:

Monitor the project planning and schedule while ensuring the production runs smoothly
Communicate with producers, coordinators, sups and leads regarding directives and production requirements
Work with APMS and PCs on a solid work plan, and followup to ensure deadlines are met

Project Analysis

Validating the list of assets, plans and number of allocated days
Evaluation and update production bids
Analyze departmental breakdowns
Work with the Line Producer to identify bottlenecks in the pipeline and develop solutions

Planning

Establish and maintain the overall production schedule
Set and verify the objectives set by each department
Set up reviews with the production team and Sups

Production

Analyze APM and PCs production reports
Anticipate emerging issues and take proactive actions to alleviate the issues
Update Shotgrid page for Production team
Other duties as assigned by your reporting manager

Requirements:

Strong planning and organizational skills
Strong time management skills, the ability to prioritize workload combined with a sense of urgency, work well under pressure and meet multiple critical deadlines daily
Must be a confident and enthusiastic communicator
Enjoys working in a fastpaced creative team environment
Ability to work collaboratively and in a team environment
Minimum 3+ years of experience in project management of an animated TV series or visual effects or games
Gaming experience is an asset
Knowledge of the creation process and terms used in CG & Gaming pipelines and Visual Effects production
Bachelors in business administration, project management or equivalent work experience
