Position Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in Metergy's growth in Canada and the US. This position offers interesting and challenging work, predictable hours, and the flexibility of a hybrid work environment. Metergy is able to offer a competitive compensation package and a friendly environment. This position will report directly to the Senior Legal Counsel.


Responsibilities:


  • Draft, review and negotiate sales and services agreements for Canadian and US clients
  • Work closely with legal and business/operational departments to support the contracting process
  • Provide contract interpretation/summaries to internal departments as needed
  • Update company standard forms and templates
  • Maintaining and continuous improvement of contract management and administration processes
  • Support the legal department in other tasks, as needed

Qualifications:


  • 5+ years experience in contract drafting, negotiation and/or contract management experience
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
  • Strong work ethic and analytical skills
  • Thrive in a fastpaced growing business
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
  • Ability to meet critical deadlines and establish and maintain working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
