Job Description:


As a TD Insurance Commercial Advisor, you will provide solutions and counsel to new and existing TD Insurance commercial clients.

You will be goal oriented and strive to deliver business results.

You will bring a passion for helping clients meet their needs with the right commercial insurance coverage, while always remaining purpose driven and devoted to delivering consistent, predictable and Legendary Experiences, every time.

As part of the team, you will:

  • Provide timely and professional advice and guidance to Commercial Business Owners to help them understand their risks and recommend the appropriate Insurance products and services aligned to their needs
  • Communicate advice in a simple and easy to understand manner so that our customers, and prospective customers can make informed and confident insurance buying decisions
  • Work proactively with your People Manager to develop; improved client experience; operations and overall personal development
  • Partake in outbound calling programs to offer products and services to potential and existing TD customers utilizing advicebased conversations to make the best recommendations
  • Maintaining uptodate knowledge and understanding of TDI policies and procedures, industry trends and protect the interests and reputation of TDI and its clients by continuous compliance to them
  • Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by proactively attracting, acquiring and retaining customers, to increase profitability and enable business growth
  • Make referrals to the Underwriting team in accordance with internal procedures
  • Demonstrate strong technical product knowledge specific to the commercial insurance product and make decisions within binding authority limits
  • Participating fully as a member of the team and support a positive work environment that promotes the business' vision and legendary client experience

Requirements:


  • Provincially licensed and in good standing in Ontario, Alberta and Nova Scotia
  • National Licenses are preferred
  • Level II in Alberta, Nova Scotia and British Columbia, are preferred
  • Must be required to be flexible to work shifts from Monday to Friday 8:00am 8:00pm and Saturday 9:00am 4:00pm.
  • Must be willing to obtain licenses in all provinces and/or territories including Quebec within 6 months of hire if required
  • Must be willing to obtain Level II licenses in all provinces and/or territories where required
  • Enrolment in and/or formal certifications (such as CIP or FCIP or equivalent industry designations) preferred
  • Bilingual (English/French) considered an asset
  • Undergraduate degree and/or 1+ years relevant experience preferred
