What You'll be DoingEnsuring program and course curricula are current, relevant, and reflective of emerging and best practices
Defining, evaluating, and validating applied learning outcomes across a diverse array of courses and programs
Teaching and developing curriculum for Advertising and Marketing Communications Diploma, Advertising and Communications Management Advanced Diploma and Marketing Management Post-Graduate Certificate programs
Creating an effective environment for learning which accommodates students' diverse cultural and educational backgrounds, experiences, and individual learning styles
Designing appropriate strategies and tools for facilitating and assessing student learning that are invitational and reflective of best practices in teaching and learning
Developing multi-media materials and alternative delivery strategies, and incorporating appropriate educational technologies into the applied learning process
Ensuring that students are aware of course and program learning outcomes, learning strategies and evaluation techniques. Providing individual tutoring and academic counselling, and evaluating student progress/achievement within assigned courses
Attending periodic community meetings

You have a demonstrated ability to facilitate learning by conveying the conceptual and applied aspects of knowledge to a broad range of diverse students.

You enjoy balancing many different tasks, staying organized and planning and can integrate multiple streams of information, prioritize, and track multiple projects to meet a demanding workload and keep things running smoothly.
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and work effectively in a team environment, managing conflict skillfully with your colleagues and students.
You have the capacity to contribute to scholarly research and creative activities within PSB.
Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline, Master's degree preferred (Master's degree required for degree and post-graduate programs)
5 years of relevant professional experience preferred
3 years of practical experience in a related field
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and educational technologies such as D2L, and other industry standard communication tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
