ROLE STATEMENT:

This newly created role will report to the Vice President, Sales and Marketing - Canada and will be responsible for the growth of relationships with current clients and developing new business opportunities focusing on all service lines to achieve sales targets and grow revenue.


SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES:


  • Selfstarter interested in the challenge of expanding all service lines for Calfrac's Canadian Division
  • Source, identify, qualify, and quote on target opportunities that match Calfrac's capabilities
  • Be effective in cold calling to generate new customer relationships and business opportunities
  • Liaison between Customers, Calfrac Account Managers and Operations for target opportunities
  • Develop relationships with new customers for continued growth within oil well servicing
  • Compile information for customer requests
  • Maintain and foster excellent relationships with Calfrac's external and internal customers
  • Collaborate as a team player with the Calfrac Sales and Marketing Team to ensure maximization of operational capabilities
  • Develop, implement and maintain Calfrac Sales and Marketing strategies
  • Collection of market intelligence for strategic growth opportunities and continued levels of customer service
  • Continuous learning of all Calfrac service lines and equipment to better support customers
  • Travel required
  • Other duties and projects as assigned

KEY ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:


  • A highly energetic, selfstarter with the ability to work in a fastpaced environment that is deadline driven; more importantly is customercentric, able to maintain satisfied customer relationships while maintaining profit focus
  • Experience in the Canadian well servicing industry; proven sales, marketing & account management experience in the oil & gas industry is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, relationshipbuilding, and verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be able to interact effectively and work comfortably with field, branch, head office staff and senior management
  • Selfstarter results oriented and able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Comfortable in a timesensitive, project driven, teambased environment
  • Ability to challenge assumptions backed by a strong business acumen and strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer service orientation and an ability to work well with all levels of the organization

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a related field or equivalent
  • Extensive experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Minimum 10 years of progressive industry experience
  • Fracturing and coiled tubing experience an asset
  • Operator experience and understanding of fracturing equipment is an asset
