Medisca is looking for a
Business Development Executive (BDE) to help drive growth and customer engagement in consumable and disposable products. Reporting to the
Senior Manager,
Commercial Operations, the
BDE will be responsible to identify, acquire, and close business sales in specified geographies based on strategic objectives. The
BDE will act as a key liaison between Medisca and key accounts to build strong business relationships, monitor competitive activity, identify customer trends, and establish effective internal collaboration.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a business plan to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Negotiate various contracts and programs with Key Accounts.
  • Stay current and wellinformed about key account business initiatives, proactively addressing any concerns and identifying opportunities for growth
  • Establish credibility, develop solid and trusting relationships with new and existing key accounts (major distributers and new markets) to positively impact and influence their decisions.
  • Provide regular reports on sales progress and business development opportunities
  • Remain up to date on product knowledge and educate customers on products
  • Complete administrative functions to keep accounts up to date in the system and prepare all materials that key account requires, for new listing, price changes, rebates, discounts etc.
  • Receive and process POs
  • Review and analyze sales & performance of key accounts and identify key insights to enable proper decisionmaking
  • Forecast and inventory planning with the key accounts, working closely with Supply Chain teams to ensure product supply
  • Prepare and manage the pricing strategies
  • Plan and coordinate with Marketing team and key accounts for promotional activities
  • Attend trade shows and events

Travel Required:
Up to 1-2 times per month in North America.


Skills, knowledge and abilities:


  • Bachelor's degree
  • 510 years experience in business development, preferably in the medical device, laboratory supplies or PPE industry
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with numbers/spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication skills required; fluent English & French (oral & written). This position requires communication with clients based solely in the United States.
