The Accounts Payable clerk provides expertise in accounts payable, financial administration, expenditure monitoring, auditing and processing a wide range of accounts payable transactions including invoices, contracts, grants and contribution payments, non-government travel and journal vouchers.

The Accounts Payable clerk reports to the Supervisor, Accounting Operations and provides help desk support for the Ministry.


Job Requirements:


  • Completion of Grade 12 and postsecondary courses in bookkeeping, accounting, and business.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a complex accounts' payable environment.
  • Experience in reconciling accounts.
  • Experience working in an office setting.
  • Experience in CAS, Oracle, and RAP

This position has on-site, office-based requirements.
