We are hiring a
Building Operator to join our Toronto Campus


What You Will Do

  • Ensure that all building systems are operating properly to maintain occupant satisfaction.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance work.
  • Identifying and resolving minor building issues.
  • Ensure that all daytoday building routines are carried out i.e. Garbage collection, recycling program, snow removal, and janitorial.
  • Maintain all records and manuals on all building systems that result in repairs alterations or replacement.
  • Coordinate and set up furniture.
  • Coordinate and supervise minor projects.
  • Prepare tenders/specifications and obtain price quotations for required maintenance contracts, equipment, supplies, and other work.
  • Supervise all tradesmen and other service providers to ensure work is completed properly and costeffectively.
  • Respond immediately to emergencies such as fire, flood, power outage and security 24/
  • Practice all safety and emergency procedures.

What You Will Bring

  • College Diploma in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Experience in building maintenance.
  • Solid understanding of building systems and ability to diagnose problems.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently with mínimal direction and able to respond quickly to emergency situations.
  • Valid driver license is required.
  • Ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Ability to work with power tools
