Kind & Confident Ed's Young Yogis Summer Camp is a Mobile Kid's Yoga & Mindfulness Summer Camp for campers Ages 6-12 and their families across the GTA.

Our mission is to "Help children grow mindfully through movement, connection and self love so they can learn to be kind to themselves and others" through our curriculum.

Our Young Yogis Summer Camp helps campers find inner peace and self love by making summer mindful.

Young Yogis shift their focus from perfection to progress and move, explore and grow through mindful games, kids yoga, crafting, music fun, theme days and more for children ages 6-12 years old.

As a mobile service, we are looking for Camp Counsellors who have access to reliable transportation and the ability to commute to various Community Centres/ locations indoors and outdoors across Vaughan/Caledon.

Requirements:

Summer camp experience
Experience working with children
Must be flexible with hours and willing to commute to different locations for camp
Standard First Aid
CRP-C (Valid for 2 years)
Vulnerable Sector Screening
High 5 Certified
AODA Certification

Skills:

Knowledge of early learning philosophies/frameworks
Creativity
Passion for working with children
Great communication skills
Flexibility
Dedicated/Loyal

Job Behaviours:

Maintain a warm and welcoming environment to children
Professionalism in interaction with participants, location staff etc
Arrive 15 minutes prior to start of camp day to set up and engaging/ age appropriate programs
Able to create and follow lesson plans
Attend virtual trainings and in person trainings.
