Key Responsibilities:
Monitor, identify, and address security vulnerabilities and threats to the cloud infrastructure
Manage access control and identity management to ensure that only authorized personnel and services have access to our cloud resources
Implement and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with industry and regulatory requirements
Conduct security audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and implement remediation plans
Deliver and manage daily operational tasks of the Infrastructure and Security Operations team
Participate in responses to incidents of both security and infrastructure services
Provide guidance to other teams on how to properly configure and secure cloud resources on Azure
Stay uptodate with the latest security threats and trends in the cloud industry and adjust security measures accordingly

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure and security, with a focus on the Azure Cloud platform
Strong understanding of Azure security best practices and awareness of common security frameworks and practices such as NIST, SOC 2, PCI, and HIPAA
Strong understanding of network security and firewall management
Experience with Azure Security Center and Azure Sentinel
Knowledge of common authentication and authorization protocols such as OAuth, SAML, and OpenID Connect
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Azure certifications such as AZ500: Microsoft Azure Security Technologies or AZ303: Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes an Terraform
Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation
Experience delivering infrastructure and service changes with Azure DevOps
Experience with cloud security automation tools such as Azure Policy, Azure Security Center APIs, Azure Sentinel and MS' general security platforms such as Cloud App
