ABOUT THE ROLE:
The Insurance Coordinator will be an integral and valuable member of the OSBIE team providing support to our member services and risk management departments.
Responsible for reviewing statistics, you will build analytics to support the member services team and other departments while providing recommendations to improve the data analytics process.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Insurance Services and Data Collection
- Respond to general risk management and member services inquiries and act as backup in the renewal process.
- Data entry processing related to loss control and risk management programs.
- Analyze data collected to measure the success of various targeted communications through various platforms and create reports.
- Conduct claims and incident data analysis and produce reports containing graphs, exhibits, and recommendations on a membership basis.
- Assist with annual risk management seminar and/or regional workshops and webinars. (Coordinate AV requirements, vendors, event app, post survey events, etc.)
- Operational and strategic project support as needed.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and office management software with ability to rapidly learn new systems and procedures. Able to effectively navigate spreadsheets.
- Provide portal support to members:
- administer username and passwords for users in accordance with OSBIE protocols
- Ensure training materials, videos, documentation for users related to the portal are current.
- Provide maintenance, development, and troubleshooting for company's Incident report system. Liaise with school staff, developers, and provide user level support.
- Work with internal support to change and enhance OSBIE website functionality.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- enrolled in CIP and/or CRM designation and 3-5 years work experience in insurance administration or completed CIP and/or CRM program with 1-3 years insurance experience
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and office management software with ability to rapidly learn new systems and procedures. Advance knowledge of Excel preferred.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with ability to work with various types of personalities.
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to multitask.
- Strong analytical, problemsolving skills and timemanagement skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Adaptable and flexible to adjust to rapidly changing priorities.
- Detail oriented with a strong work ethic.
- Team player willing to give a hand and contribute ideas.
- Reliable and responsible for handling sensitive information.
- Fluency in written and verbal French an asset.
Salary:
$47,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
